Grapevine Communities are Social Networking websites geared for local cities & townships across America. Each Grapevine Community is independently owned and operated. Grapevine owners earn revenue by selling Banner Advertising, Business Directory Listings and sometimes charge for Classified Listings. While some owners handle the Banner Advertising sales themselves, others have chosen to hire Advertising Agents.

In a nut shell, our job and commitment to the owners is the daily hosting and support on the back end. We are the IT Guys/Gals. This frees up the owners to then focus on running and growing their Grapevine business.

Banner Advertising

There are five advertising positions on every Grapevine Community with a recommended 10 ad rotations per position. As an owner, you decide how many ads you want to rotate per position and what your pricing structure will be. With the recommended default, the profit potential crosses over $10,000 per month in banner advertising sales.

Now the kicker, we have already placed National Advertising on these sites and pull in a few hundred per month while we search for an owner. When you take over, this revenue stream will become yours and this alone with a bit of traffic on your site can cover the monthly hosting and support fee that we charge.

Business Directory

Advertising in the yellow pages can get real expensive real quick and not much room to promote a company. With the growth and expansion of the internet, online advertising continues to increase. The Grapevine Business Directory will allow local businesses to post and display their logo, hours of operation, videos, images, address with a geo map displaying their location, unlimited space to share information about their company and much much more.

You set the monthly price you want to charge and keep 100% of the profits. Oh and the great thing, this is completely automated so you are hands off.

The Business Directory is database driven and therefore has no limit to the number of business members your site can have and thus no limit of income potential from the Business Directory.

Coupons

Tied into your Business Directory is a coupon section that you can allow your Business Members to use. Decide if you want to charge a premium for this or if you will be throwing it in free of charge with every Business Directory Listing.

Classifieds

To charge or not to charge, that is the question. Many websites now offer free classified listings in smaller cities, while it is still the norm to charge in larger cities. For this reason, you as the admin can decide what is best for your location. As an owner you can charge on a per listing basis for a specific category or charge a flat monthly fee for unlimited postings.

Monthly Subscriptions

Now take it one step further and offer up package deals for those who use the classifieds, business directory, coupon listing and banner advertising.

No reason to beat around the bush. We are also in business to make a few dollars so let's break it down for you real quick on how we make our money.

We take care of all the back end details so you can focus on the day to day growth of your company.
There is a small startup charge of only $1,200 and in less than 3 business days we will have you fine-tuned and and running your own Grapevine Community.
We would expect that you will keep us on for hosting, business development and IT support. In fact we don't hope, you see, it is actually a requirement. No worries though, it is a small fee of only $325 per month. Where else would you find hosting, business development, IT support and a turn-key company for such a great rate?
Discounts from $400 to $700 off setup fees available on additional Communities.
Break all of this down and we are less than 5% of your monthly overhead once you are up and making money.

We have been asked why we don't just keep it all and run all the Grapevine Community sites ourselves. Several factors have made up our reasoning to run the Grapevine Communities as we do and thus we have several answers for you.

We are programmers and support technicians. We would rather stay behind the scenes making sure that things are running smoothly.
What is our purpose in life? Is it a greed factor where we make all the money and have others serve us? Or... Should we instead make a comfortable living and help others make a great living as well so they can go out in life and have the time and finances to share and pay it forward making a difference in lives of others?
Owners have a vested interest and as an owner you will do everything in your power to make sure your Grapevine Community succeeds.
We are based out of Redmond, Oregon and thus don't have local contacts in every community across America. If we did, one of us would not be needed in this equation.

Think you can do it better? Cheaper?

We bring this up not only as a challenge, but also to make a point of what is involved. This is not a Mickey Mouse operation. It will cost you an arm, a leg and lots of time if you think you can find something better and cheaper to get started. There are over 8500 files that make each Grapevine Community possible.

Programming will take you 4-6 months. Calculate the going rate of $120/hour for a good programmer, a single site will cost you a minimum of $76,800 to mirror the quality and content we have put together. That is a low end estimate. Don't believe us, start asking around.
Licensing agreements we have in place will cost you a minimum of $3,905 to launch and $3,000 per month to operate.
Hosting you can start on a dedicated server for $159/mo, however you must pay another $99 if you want support or you must have knowledge of your own on how to manage. If your site grows, your monthly hosting will also increase. Of course you can hire your $120/hr programmer to help you out when you need it.
Will your programmer still be there after the job?
Will you be in business by yourself with no support? The great thing is that you are not alone. Not only do you have us for support, you also have a forum to tap into with other active owners to share ideas, see what is working, what isn't working and how others are best promoting and growing their business. No one owner views one another as competition, rather partners who know that the better you do, the better they will do by growing and branding the Grapevine into a household name.
